Rub apple cider vinegar on blemishes for a refreshing remedy. Doing this can restore moisture to your skin and decrease the dryness that can occur with acne. Do this during the daytime, because the smell of apple cider vinegar is very strong, as you do not want to get this on your sheets.

Do not go to sleep with your makeup on. Sleep is necessary as a way for our body and skin to recover from daily stresses. By going to bed while you’re wearing makeup, you will be making it hard for your skin to breathe and it won’t be able to repair itself. Just take a few minutes each night before going to bed and remove all traces of your makeup.

You can take care of your skin with a number of natural products found in your kitchen, such as baking soda. Some body washes are worse for your skin than environmental pollutants. Look for body washes that are packed full of healthy vitamins and minerals. The vitamins will nourish your skin, while the moisturizer will replenish need moisture.

If your skin care products do not contain sunscreen consider adding your own, especially to your foundation. A lot of different make-up brands are already blended with SPF. If your foundation doesn’t contain SPF, or doesn’t have enough, add your own. Simply place a few drops of the sunscreen into the foundation, mix thoroughly, and apply.
